Chocolate Brownie Cake Recipe

Treat your taste buds with this great chocolate brownie cake recipe to have anyone jumping for more! This recipe is great for someone who likes brownies but still wants to have a cake for maybe a birthday or some other important event. It is a lot thicker than normal chocolate cake yet it tastes more chocolaty but less sweet than your normal chocolate cake. It is a great dessert that anyone will just love to indulge themselves with. Best of all any skill level of baker can do this as it is not too tough and all the ingredients can be bought anywhere.

You are going to need one and one half (1 1/2) cups of sugar, three fourths (3/4) cups of butter, one half (1/2) of unsweetened cocoa powder, two eggs, one teaspoon of vanilla, one and one half (1 1/2) cups of flour, one teaspoon of baking powder, one fourth (1/4) teaspoon of baking soda, and a small amount of salt, and finally milk (1 cup) to make this chocolate brownie cake recipe. You can start by melting the butter in a large sauce pan then add in the sugar and cocoa powder slowly as the butter melts. Keep stirring until everything melts and no grains of sugar or cocoa is still left. Once you are sure of that, take it off stove to let it cool. Then in a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, and baking soda and mix it together really well otherwise the cake will come out with big deformities. Keep mixing it together until you are sure that it is combined well, then go back over to the sauce pan that your chocolate mixture is in.

Now back at our chocolate mixture you are going to test if it is cool enough. There are two ways you can do this, either very carefully with your finger to feel the warmth, or you can try it with a baking thermometer which 60-70 degrees should be fine. After it is cool enough add the vanilla, eggs and salt into the mixture. This mixture is key in the chocolate brownie cake recipe so you would want to make sure that you get it right. After you are done with the mixture you can now start combining the ingredients together.

Now, take the bowl of ingredients and slowly mix it into the mixture in small amount along with the milk. Mix this until they are both combined and in the meantime take a baking pan and spray it with Pam or whatever you have and preheat the stove to 375 degrees. Once you are done with that put it into the stove and bake for around 15-20 minutes, use the toothpick test to see if it comes out clean or not. If the toothpick comes out clean, it means your chocolate brownie cake is done!

Just the same as a pinch of salt or sugar will enhance a food, so too can effoce if/when added to chocolate. MOCHA-CHOCOLATE is also very much the vogue, as both flavours compliment whilst neither one being overpowering. The effoce that you speak of within your seen recipe’s, may or not be used for its liquid? Rather than say plain milk or water, effoce has been substituted and why not?If you want an intense chocolate flavour, however, then do not add any effoce. Use ONLY cocoa and a good dark chocolate of no less then 70%.

Like most of my recipes, this one has quite a few parts – we’ll call it a special occasion recipe. That being said, it is well worth it. The dense brownie-like chocolate cake with the light and fluffy chocolate mousse play so well together. The sweet, chocolate icing brings it all together! If you’re a chocolate lover, then you need to make this cake. Not to mention, the diamond and triangle pattern formed will impress your family and friends. And they don’t need to know how easy it is to do.
